The Low Carb Chronicles of the Fat-Headed Klingon Woman is the companion blog to the Therapy Journals. At the Low Carb Chronicles, I write as if to myself, keeping a record of my new (as of Monday, August 25, 2014) efforts to follow a low-carb lifestyle of eating, encouraging myself, practicing positive self talk, and analyzing my choices, both good and bad.
*
I “did Atkins” for a year back in 2004 or so, and lost 100 lbs. in one calendar year. I went through all the holidays, all the birthdays, etc., eating low carb, and managed to make it work.

In January 2010 I started Weight Watchers. Between January 2010 and June 2012 I lost 129 lbs. following WW, attending meetings, and tracking points and PointsPlus. After 2012, I somehow lost my motivation. There were a couple of big events in my life around that time that I had been waiting on and working toward, and after those events were past, I think I just sort of forgot why I was doing all this.
*
So I struggled for the next two years, so that between June 2012 and July 2014 my total net loss is now only about 60 lbs. from when I first began in 2010. Which brings me to where I am today, which is, I’m doing both simultaneously. I’m tracking on WW and I’m eating low carb, and we’re going to see what happens with that.

So check out the result at http://fatheadedklingonwoman.wordpress.com and join me in my journey!
Thanks a million. Love to all!
